About Grey Nomad Photography
Grey Nomad is a name well known and loved in Australia. It's given
to those of us that have reached the stage in our lives where we
are free from the normal day to day routine worklife and instead
are free to travel from place to place whenever we desire. The "grey"
normally refers to the hair colour of the older generation, provided
there is hair on the head at all.
My name is Martin Cooper and after many years of fulltime employment
I have joined this exclusive or maybe elusive group called Grey
Nomads. With my wife Renate we travel this great vast country of
ours, Australia, from north to south, east to west and right 'round
the coast doing the "big lap". We are so lucky that our
travels have taken us to many special and secluded places and its
with real pride that we share our experiences with you through our
photos.
My interest in photography has been with me since very young having
joined a Camera club at high school many, many years ago. From taking
many photos over the years ranging from motor racing to landscapes
and special events, I have enjoyed the real thrill of having my
own black and white darkroom in mum and dad's laundry to now refining
and enhancing digital images through the great digital image software
solutions available today. Change is alive and well in photography.
